The People

Since opening in 1994, Barzura has employed people from all corners of the globe including Nepal, Malaysia, Canada, Ireland, Bangladesh, India, New Zealand, Poland, Hungary, Chile, Brazil, Indonesia...

We have just said goodbye to the greatest Barzura Couple Yuli and Ketut they were two of our longest serving staff members, and it was sad to see them go, they have now started up their own business back in Bali, We at barzura wish them all the best and luck for their future back where they call home.

The return of Jay Ar  - came to Australia from the Philippines in November 1995. He began working at Barzura as a kitchen hand then working his way up to becoming Sous-Chef, not only did he become better in the kitchen he learnt english as he worked. He then continued on till July 2005 then returned back to the Philippines.

Now he is back - returning in December 2008, Jay Ar is happy to be back in Australia, he is still an amazing chef and we are delighted to have him back as one of our key team players at Barzura.  He now intends on staying in Australia permanently.

Requirements

We employ professional hospitality staff with extensive experience in the industry. Staff are required to complete the relevant RSA Certificate(s). We welcome applications from people holding Student Visas, who are entitled to work a maximum of 20 hours per week.
